New Delhi, March28 — Mumbai Indians beats Deccan Chargers by 41 runs in the 25th match of Indian Premier League at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
The Sachin sena absolutely demolished the Deccan Chargers with spectacular display on the field. This was the 5th consecutive win of the Mumbai Indians.
Man of the match: Harbhajan Singh for his 3 wickets haul and also 49 runs with the bat.
Tendulkar: I thank the crowd for coming out and supporting us in large numbers. Harbhajan’s innings was the turning point of the match and our bowlers capped it off with a superb performance. So far it’s been good and we don’t want to lose this momentum, it’s about keeping the fighting spirit high and we want to continue that.
Gilly: Harbhajan’s innings towards the end dented us and then he knocked me over early, so he was the difference tonight. It doesn’t matter if we are playing on the moon or Sachin’s backyard, we have to simply play some good cricket.
