Put into bat, Tendulkar held the MI innings together with his fourth IPL III half century but it was Harbhajan's game-changing innings laced with eight fours and two sixes which took the home side score to 172 for seven from 119 from seven in the 17th over.
Later, Harbhajan took three wickets for 31 to help Mumbai Indians crush Deccan Chargers by 41 runs.
"The bat I used was lent to me by Sachin. Thank you Sachin for allowing me use your bat," said Harbhajan, who was adjudged man-of-the-match for his unbeaten 49 and his bowling figures of 3/31, after the match.
