And after Tendulkar's record shattering 200 not out, every Mumbai Indians' fan will be hoping the master blaster wins them the prestigious IPL crown this year.

With his opening partner in Sanath Jayasuriya, both the players will be one of the deadliest opening pairs in IPL. Both the players like to dominate the bowling and their style of play is exactly what T20 requires.
With South African coaches such as Shaun Pollock and Jonty Rhodes, the Mumbai Indians team has the behind the scenes expertise as well.

Zaheer Khan, Lasith Malinga and Dilhara Fernando will cherish the presence of Pollock as their mentor. The Mumbai Indians pace attack is one of their biggest strengths with flair and control in their armoury.

Harbhajan Singh can be lethal weapon for Mumbai Indians. He can be a match winner for Mumbai with his experience and especially that on Indian pitches. His also has the ability to dent the opponents with his tight and accurate bowling accompanying the guile.

Mumbai Indians' middle order batsman Duminy has been one of the best buys for them. His performance last year proved that he can anchor Mumbai and he has made his mark as a real match winner. Shikhar Dhawan too is the perfect T20 batsman as he can up the ante to go with his athletic fielding ability.

But all eyes will be on the West Indian enigma Kieron Pollard, who is termed as the next big thing in international cricket. Mumbai spent a whopping amount to recruit Pollard after he showed his prowess in the Champions League in 2009. With the style of his play, he can make the mockery of any bowler and score runs at a hefty pace. Pollard will be one of the main men to watch out for in this year's IPL.

Mumbai Indians also have all-round talent in Dwayne Bravo and Abhishek Nayar. Abhishek Nayar can take some solid rear-guard action, like he did against Andrew Flintoff last year. Bravo, on the other hand, is one of Mumbai's go-to men as he can really hit the ball big and along with bowl out his quota consistently. He was one of the star performers in IPL II.

Youngsters like Ambati Rayudu, Graham Napier, Dhawal Kulkarni and Ishan Malhotra will be hoping that they get opportunity this time around so that they can have their chance to shine and prove it to the world that they can compete with big boys.

With the right mix of youth and experience, Mumbai Indians will be one of the favourites to go the distance.
