This seven wicket victory of RCB over MI was a mix of well executed bowling, marvelous fielding and above all mesmerizing batting performance by Jacques Kallis.

It seemed that nothing could come in between RCB’s Jacques Kallis and his speedy run rate, this South African hitter once again proved that whether it was Lasith Malinga or any one else, he would not stop. He placed amazing strokes all around the ground on the bowling of this supposedly dangerous Lankan bowler. His unbeaten 66 runs landed him winning the match and also the man of the match trophy.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) that successfully curtailed the score of this host team Mumbai Indian to a safe 151 for 9. Mumbai Indians elected to bat but the score card could not show some amazing hits. Jayasuriya could not contribute anything to the score card and was out on lbw by Steyn at 2 runs. Saurabh Tiwary also gave up to Kumble’s bowling when he was at 25 in the tenth over. The team was at 73 for 3 but had little to worry since their star batsman Sachin Tendulkar was still on crease.

But no one knew what this IPL Season 3 Match had in store in the upcoming over by Vinay Kumar for (RCB). He took Sachin on the third ball of his over and then the spree stopped at Bravo. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) displayed an awesome bowling line with Vinay Kumar’s perfect bowling pace and length, managing to take good 3 wickets by just giving 25 runs.

Taking A.T Rayudu outside the off stump Vinay Kumar led the ball gliding smoothly into Boucher’s palms. He then went into take Sachin Tendulkar bowling him leg-stump when the batsman was on 25 runs. Next on his target was Bravo and after repeated appeals he was also shown the way out on a leg- before by Vinay Kumar. “We had planned to bowl more in-swingers to Tendulkar. Most Indian batsmen are uncomfortable facing in-swingers,’’ said Vinay Kumar.

Sachin displayed 3 consecutive boundaries by the sheer sophistication of his bat off Steyn’s ball but could not survive for longer to continue with that.
