India's master batsman Sachin Tendulkar and teammate Zaheer Khan have joined the Mumbai Indians camp ahead of this year's IPL.
Captain Tendulkar along with Zaheer had interactions with the players and also watched the team play a practice match. Team owners Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani were also present.
A conditioning camp of the team had started off more than a week ago.
Mumbai Indians have not performed well in the IPL finishing fifth and seventh in the last two editions.
Meanwhile, India's bowling coach Eric Simmons has joined the Delhi Daredevils as assistant coach.
The former South African fast bowler will join the team on Monday.
However the duration of the contract has not been spelt out by the team management as yet.
England's Ravi Bopara and Australia's Brett Lee have also joined the preparatory camp of the King's XI Punjab.
Earlier, Bopara had expressed security concerns and was quoted saying that IPL was not worth risking his wife.
The third season of the IPL kicks off in Mumbai on March 12 when champions Deccan Chargers take on Kolkata Knight Riders.
